Client file and project in Tattoomorrow: the complete walkthrough
By Emmanuel (MedTattoo), professional tattoo artist and trainer · Reviewed by Maxime, MedMax SARL · Published
Who it is for: new Tattoomorrow users and tattoo artists who want to see how a first client is handled in the app.
In brief. A client has a file they create by scanning your QR code and one or more projects with sessions. The waiver, traceability, photos, deposits and invoice attach to the project. The complete process takes about ten minutes the first time and two or three afterwards. Client files, calendar and reminders are Free; projects, waivers, traceability and invoicing require Premium.
Step 1 — Appointment (Free)
Open “AGENDA” (CALENDAR), choose the day and create the appointment with client name, duration, procedure and colour. The reminder is sent automatically by email. In a studio, the shared calendar shows each artist's workload.
Step 2 — Client file by QR code (Free)
Ask the client to scan the QR code in “CLIENT”. They enter identity, contact details and health questionnaire on their phone. The file appears without retyping and can be found by name or nickname.
Step 3 — Project (Premium)
Open “PROJETS” (PROJECTS) in the file and add the title, body area, sessions and agreed price. Each project stores its history, artwork or stencil and before/after photos.
Step 4 — Signed waiver (Premium)
The waiver uses the identity and questionnaire, describes the procedure, recalls risks, contraindications and aftercare, then is signed on screen. The eIDAS-compliant electronic signature is timestamped and archived.
Step 5 — Traceability before opening the ink (Premium)
Add every product with manufacturer reference, batch, expiry and photo. Do this before opening the product for every session: French regulations expect it and inspectors may ask for it. See our hygiene inspection guide.
Step 6 — Deposit, sessions and payment (Premium)
Record the deposit; each session adds photos and payment. Tattoomorrow tracks amounts and creates PDF invoices with custom tax settings; it does not collect payment. A monthly accounting summary is emailed to you.
Step 7 — Aftercare sheet
Email the aftercare sheet from the client file. Customise it once for tattooing, piercing or PMU; the client receives written instructions and you keep proof of sending.
Daily benefits
- One path for everything: client → project → waiver, traceability, photos and invoices.
- No retyping: the client enters details and you validate them.
- Evidence at each stage.
- For studios, files and calendars are shared while each artist keeps their projects.
What you will not find
No client self-booking, in-app card payment, SMS or web version. The app runs on iOS and Android.
